We live in college housing since Mike works in residence life. We have our own apartment in one of the residence halls at the university. Our apartment came furnished, so we didn't have to worry about finding and purchasing furniture, which was especially helpful since we moved from 2,000 miles away, and neither of us had any furniture to begin with! Since only Jenn's parents have had the opportunity to visit us and see our apartment so far, we wanted to share some photos of our place and give you the tour.
Most of what we've done with our apartment is decorate with our own bits and pieces and put up lots of pictures. Jenn acquired lots of paintings and images from her study abroad trip to Florence, and together we've acquired some neat pieces from antique shops, family, and friends. Plus we got some lovely wedding presents, which we've put up everywhere we can!
We have a one bedroom apartment with a nice walk-in closet. We have an open floor plan with the kitchen and dining area just off the living room. Our living room is nice a large with a really comfy couch and overstuffed chair. The sun streams into our living space in the morning making it warm and bright! We also have a nice little patio, which still needs some love from us but provides a great outdoor space.
