Wedding!! Part 2 - The First Look and Portraits!

We decided to do a first look before our ceremony because we were able to arrive at our venue 3 hours before the ceremony, and we wanted to get lots of portraits taken. Plus it was really lovely to share a few moments together before we got married. We really loved doing the first look!

We had our first look in front of the castle in the gardens. Our wonderful photographer set Mike up and then had me come out of the building. It was so exciting to come down and see him! We hadn't seen each other since the previous evening, so we had a lot to catch up on! 

Our families and attendants watched from the window during our first look, and I love that our photographer captured them looking down at us. It was really fantastic to see each other and talk before our ceremony. We had such fun exploring the venue with our photographer and taking loads of photos. 

Pockets!!!

In addition to the lovely front garden and gorgeous facade of the castle, The Cloisters features a walkway along the back courtyard, neat doorways, and a windmill!!!
