Honeymoon! - Days 1 & 2

After our beautiful, amazing, incredibly-fun wedding, we went on a wonderful honeymoon in Sonoma, California! Most of the first day was spent flying, driving, losing our bags, relaxing, and eating really tasty pizza from Mary's Pizza in downtown Sonoma.

We stayed in a beautiful vacation apartment rental with a patio overlooking part of the Sonoma Valley!

On day two, we woke-up, drove back to the airport to track down our final two bags, then went on a wine-tasting tour on bikes with Mike's cousin and her boyfriend who live in San Francisco. We biked from their place in Sonoma to Bartholomew Park Winery, went through the venue's wine museum, and had a picnic on the property there. Then we rode to Gundlach Bundschuh and did a tasting there. So much fun and amazing wine!

That night, we had dinner at the girl & the fig restaurant in Sonoma. We had reservations booked by Mike's great aunt and uncle, since they knew we would be honeymooning there. What a perfect wedding gift! We had some of their specialties - the fig cake and the fig and arugula salad.
